US Ready to Unleash Military Offensive in Syria

By: Stewart Brennan

The American rhetoric on Syria never seems to change, in fact it sounds more like a broken record, as they once again demand that, “Syrian President Bashar al Assad must GO”.

Of course the US government would have us all believe that America is the prime defender of freedom and democracy, but in fact, the complete opposite is true as democratically elected governments throughout the World have been toppled by the US over the last seven decades in more ways than one…Why? Because an independent nation didn’t go along with US dictates…a few examples come to mind, Iran 1953, Guatemala 1954, Chile 1973, Ukraine 2014, and there are many more examples…but the question begs asking, “Who gave them that right?” and how many millions will have to die in the name of US Imperialism?

How many times do we have to say it!? “Syria is for the Syrian people to decide!” The future of Syria is not to be decided by a gang of belligerent outsiders like Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Israel, France, Britain or the USA!

Truce in Syria?

The truce in Syria is a farce. The Americans only agreed to the truce because their terrorist forces were getting their butts kicked and they needed time to regroup and rearm. Period!

While the terrorists re-armed, the American government sent an additional 250 US Military personnel into Syria to train these terrorist with US supplied anti-Aircraft weaponry, as they did previously with US anti-tank TOW missiles.

HEY USA, STOP SUPPLYING THE TERRORISTS WITH WEAPONS!

The Geopolitical Chess Pieces are Being Polished and Put in Place

Get ready for the next faze of this US war of insanity because Turkey’s Erdogan has now consolidated power into a full fledged dictatorship and could launch a military invasion into Syria at anytime without having to ask for the Turkish governments approval. The elimination of the Turkish Prime Ministers position and the repeal of immunity for opposition members in the Turkish parliament has given Erdogan a free hand to do as he pleases without interruption. However, I’m sure he’ll wait for the US to give the green light before doing so.

The US controls Turkey and President Erdogan by virtue of their US / NATO Military Bases on Turkish soil. If the US did not agree with what Erdogan was doing, they would have forced the issue ”by insisting” he stop, as they did with Europe when it came to doing business with Russia… and so I wonder why I have not heard the Americans insist that “Erdogan must go”?

I guess the US government are not very good ambassadors of moral character or good will now are they. The way I see it, the US is molding their Turkish chess piece for the Geopolitical chessboard in Syria.

The Rise of the Sultan

Anyone that opposes Erdogan is either eliminated or thrown in jail in Turkey, and I might add in Germany also since it is against the law to ridicule a foreign leader as one German comedian found out. Today, Europe is threatened by Erdogan’s blackmail when he demands that the EU pay him billions of dollars to stop him from forcibly expelling refugees to Europe..ie: the US war refugees that gathered in Turkey from the Middle East and Asia…

AND what about the EU? They just gave Erdogan whatever he asked for…and of course it won’t end there, as we have seen as the EU caved into Erdogan’s demand of free visa’s for all Turkish citizens! So, what happens when Erdogan spends all that money on weapons to keep his personal genocide of the Kurds going and needs more money? Why hasn’t the US said anything? Why hasn’t the US “Insisted” Erdogan stop…

Why? Because the US is using Turkey to keep Europe in line with the US military objectives in Syria that’s why…and that objective also comes with a message to the EU not to become economic trade partners with Russia…or else.

Do you think Erdogan the Insane knows that he’s disposable like Iraq’s Saddam Hussein was? Hell, if the US decides Erdogan is no longer useful to them, they already have Davutoglu ready to step in as their next puppet in Turkey

Now that Erdogan has control of Turkey, it’s just a matter of time before he launches an invasion into Syria, citing Kurdish terrorists as the reason. Of course that opens up the gates of hell and brings NATO, Saudi Arabia and the EU with him.

We already know that the terrorists unleashed on Syria are supplied with US weapons funnelled through Turkey…and we know that the recent attacks in Aleppo were launched by these US backed terrorists…the same terrorists that the Kurds and Syrian army are at war with…and as usual the Western mainstream media echo’s their governments position and falsely blame the Syrian and Russian governments for the terrorists shelling of Syrian civilians in Aleppo. When will they get it through their heads that hundreds of millions of people all over the world have had enough and are determined to expose western lies?

The US is putting all its Geopolitical pieces in place to launch their inevitable Plan “B” for Syria. John Kerry even gives a deadline of August 2016 when this plan will be launched if Bashar al Assad does not obey their dictates…the plan is already in play.

Arrogance in living colour by John Kerry…

US Sends Troops to Syria

The US deployment of troops in Syria is a breach of international law, and what comes with these US military personnel is a bigger crime. John McCain hinted at it not long ago saying that they would supply the terrorists with the means to shoot the Russian and Syrian aircraft out of the sky…by doing this they are equipping terrorists with anti-aircraft weapons and who knows what else…

US Senator John McCain says he'd give terrorists means to shoot down Russian planes

There is no free Syrian Army John McCain, there are only US backed terrorist BOOTS ON THE GROUND and war criminals that enable them!

The Real Friends of the Syrian People are Under Attack

All of the countries and organizations that are helping the Syrian people get rid of their Western backed terrorist problem have been attacked in a variety of ways.

In Lebanon, we see Hezbollah being labelled a terrorist group. No doubt the US coalition will use this label as an opportunity to bomb Lebanon’s Hezbollah in the near future...And now that Israel has upgraded their ties with NATO after Erdogan dropped his veto, we can speculate where the attack on Hezbollah will come from…

Iran

The US is doing everything it can to harm Iran economically including their refusal to allow Iran into the global financial system. Recently, the illegal US seizure and disbursement of 2 Billion dollars of Iranian money to the families of dead US occupation troops, prove that the American government has no intention of respecting the nuclear agreement that the P5+1 made with Iran. In fact, the US presidential candidates waiting in the wings to take power after the next US election intend to get down right hostile on Iran.

We already know that both the Saudi’s and Israeli’s see Iran as a threat to their interests and that both US protectorates view Iran as their mortal enemy. Both countries have violently sided against the Syrian government and support the terrorists committing atrocities against the Syrian people.

Russia

The US / NATO military forces have quadrupled their deployment in Eastern Europe; War games are continually conducted throughout the regions surrounding Russia, and the US backed Ukrainian Nazi’s are now building up for an invasion of the Donbass region, which I believe is to force Russia into protecting the Russian speaking citizens of the region while keeping the Russian military busy…of course the mainstream media will then say “see, here’s our proof that Russia has invaded Ukraine.” And even if Russia does not intervene in Donbass, they will still be blamed as if they were the aggressors.

Donbass: Further Escalation of Violence

Video Source: Southfront

US economic sanctions continue to be enforced on Russia and will soon be extended by the EU after the US government “insists” the EU continue them when sanctions come up for review in June 2016….You can be sure that Russia will be blamed for any and all crimes committed by the Ukraine government…including the failure of the Minsk II agreement.

Brace yourselves for what is to come because the US will not stop their insane drive to remove Bashar Al Assad and will not be satisfied until all or part of Syria is in their economic and geopolitical control…they have summoned the demons of hell to prove it…

The future of the world hangs in the balance and if the 2016 US Presidential election is any indication, the World had better stand up now or we will find ourselves in a raging fire that is out of control…

Is the US getting Ready to Unleash a New Military Offensive in Syria? They already are…

Saudi Arabia’s Terminal Decline

By: Stewart Brennan

It’s been said many times that Saudi Arabia has 25% of the Worlds known oil reserves and that's a huge amount, because global economics depends heavily on oil energy to foster growth…but what happens when after 60 years of extraction the oil in Saudi Arabia goes into terminal decline? The answer is economic collapse

BREAKING NEWS!

The above headline should have raised the attention and anxiety levels of many people around the world...but this very significant statement seems to have passed by without much notice...but it should be a huge wake up call.

“OIL” is the sole natural resource that Saudi Arabia possesses, so their plan to sell off all their oil assets tells me that they have now passed a critical point in their oil production and have entered a serious phase of “Terminal Decline”…You can be sure that the oil left in the ground is not worth 2 Trillion dollars so I would caution and say “Buyer Beware!” but also caution that if Saudi Arabia has indeed gone past their peak, then the world is in for a very bumpy ride as indeed the Saudi’s have already dragged us through their insane extremist mindset in Syria, Yemen, Libya, and many other places across Asia, Africa and the Middle East to hide this fact…

The panic within the house of Saud is there for all to see and became evident in a 2013 open letter by Prince Alwaleed, the nephew of deceased king, Abdullah, where he revealed that “92% of the Saudi government budget relies on oil revenues”. He also expressed that "Revenue diversification is a must, and that it necessitates a clear vision that should be implemented immediately," He also called on Saudi authorities to prepare plans to generate nuclear energy and renewable energy to "reduce local consumption of oil as soon as possible". These startling concerns point to the Saudi’s being in an advanced state of “Terminal Decline” and that the action required by the Saudi regime was extremely urgent.

For a country that claims to be swimming in oil, the alarm here is quite clear, that there just isn’t going to be enough oil for the country to sustain its future needs. The timing of the announcement is also interesting as their total financial support of the ISIL terrorist army had not yet come into being, nor had they declared war on Yemen at that point...and oil was trading well over $100.00 per barrel.

Today, the oil revenue of Saudi Arabia does not even cover the Saudi government budget so we must look at all the reasons for why that is.

Saudi Arabia ramps up austerity to avoid budget deficit

Low Market Price for Oil

Much has been said about Saudi Arabia keeping their oil output high to drive global prices lower to keep shale oil competition out of the market…that would be true if the Saudi’s were in a strong financial position to launch such an economic war…but they clearly were not in good financial shape and they knew it…And since the Saudi’s needed money it would have been better for them to reduce their production and drive the market prices higher rather than keeping the price low through a higher production…It makes no logical sense that they would lower the price of oil when they knew it would cause them economic disaster…this is one area that panic could have influenced their actions…but they knew that losing this economic gamble would drive them to financial ruin…now they are in a position that they need to sell off all their oil assets…and they are indeed in a panic.

Also of special note, within Prince Alwaleed’s open letter is that he calls for the acquisition of nuclear energy as an alternative to oil…this statement should give everyone pause considering the sociopathic and sadistic actions this regime has employed against the people of the region through their outright sponsoring of terrorism and twisted belief in supremest ideology.

Another big give away that I believe furthers the argument of Saudi Arabia’s Terminal oil Decline was that in November 2013, the Saudi’s announced that they were going to deport hundreds of thousands of foreign workers who mostly worked in the oil industry, and its supporting community. They cited that it was to create jobs for their own people and yet the deportations were brutal and massive in scope. As most managerial people know, training unskilled workers to do the jobs that skilled and experienced workers held before them is a very costly and time consuming process…especially when a large segment of the skilled foreign worker pool is replaced…results don't happen overnight so things just don’t add up unless the thought of peak oil comes into the picture…

Saudi Arabia to deport thousands of Egyptian workers - (2013)

Source: Press TV

When a nation deports people on a massive scale such as this, they are preparing for an economic calamity and or an immanent war. This was a very drastic and paranoid move by the Saudi government in 2013…and as we look back, the war on Yemen and their own economic collapse had not happened yet.

Corruption in the House

Going back to an article from 2003 titled “The Fall of theHouse of Saud” written by ex CIA officer “Robert Baer” in “The Atlantic”, the number of family members in the house of Saud, was between 10,000 to 12,000 and rising. He reports that they were emptying the royal treasury by their increasing demand for royal stipends while also boldly engaging in criminal activity.

Fraud certainly took its toll on the Saudi government budget, but I have no doubt, that some of those criminal schemes were put to an end by King Abdullah while he was building and funding his terrorist army and training schools in other nations.

Indeed, the Saudi’s support and funding of fanaticism, terrorism, and war throughout the Middle East, Africa, and Eurasia has taken a severe toll on Saudi money reserves, so much so that they have actually had toborrow billions of dollars to meet this years budget.

The Saudi’s were the largest exporter of oil to the world, with 25% of known global oil reserves. They made a lot of money over the past 45 years and it looks increasingly clear that many of the Saud family members have squandered their entire fortune on maintaining a lavish criminal lifestyle while also shouldering the cost of their violent ideology while warring on neighbouring countries…all while the general population of Saudi Arabia lives in a state of brutal abject poverty…

Documentary - Saudi Arabia Uncovered

Saudi Arabia is now trying to ward off national bankruptcy by implementing austerity measures. According to the IMF, the Saudi’s would need the selling price of oil to be around $106.00 per barrel just to avoid a budget deficit. But in 2013 according to the IMF, Saudi Arabia needed $89.00 per Barrel to balance its budget and in 2012 it needed $78.00 per barrel to balance its budget.

The Saudi argument in 2013 for their budget deficit was that the shale oil Industry in the USA was responsible for their decline in oil sales, but today the shale oil industry is in complete decay. The amount of cash required for a barrel of oil, to balance the Saudi budget, has risen exponentially year on year. Where more than 90% of the budget is dependent on the sale of oil…

Here’s the thing, once an oil pocket recedes past a certain point, water has to be pumped in to maintain the outflow…however, as the oil is extracted, more water has to be pumped in to maintain pressure and therefore more water has to be separated from the oil which in turn increases the cost of extracting it. The costs rise exponentially until the oil well is no longer productive. Once the increased cost of oil extraction passes the actual market price per barrel then it is no longer profitable…if your budget requires $106.00 per barrel and the price of oil is below that, then losses are going to occur. Today’s oil prices are hovering between $30.00 and $40.00 per barrel…. UMMMM, Houston, they have a problem…

If the Saudi’s need money, then ideally, all they have to do is cut production to drive the oil price up, but instead they will sell their oil assets? It doesn’t add up, unless they have gone into terminal decline and need to sell off their oil assets to secure some sort of future…

The global economy is contracting and therefore oil is not in as big a demand as it would be with a growing economy, and that really is the global situation today, economic contraction worldwide…but it doesn’t answer the question as to why the Saudi’s would sell off their ONLY resource and their only future, because oil powers economic growth, not just for the present, but for the future as well…there are many things the Saudi's could do to save money...one would be to stop buying weapons from all the western countries, and cut some of those royal stipends that seem to find their way into offshore accounts...

Maybe the Saudi’s should not invest themselves in criminal wars! After all, funding global terrorism and waging war on other countries like Syria and Yemen does drain a treasury dry now doesn’t it...just ask the Americans…add to that the internal fraud, lavish lifestyles and the funded projects of its twisted Ideology all over the World…but I digress…

I believe that Saudi oil is in severe terminal decline, and since the US dollar is deeply connected with Saudi Arabia who controls OPEC, the American’s might be trying to distance themselves from the Saudi’s as we are witnessing with the list of people just thrown under the bus by the planned leak of the “Panama Papers”.

The leaked documents include the Saudi King along with some of his associates from Qatar, Jordan, and U.A.E. How wonderfully convenient if you are trying to distance yourself from a few used up dictators and their involvement of war crimes and crimes against humanity by having a leak…adding Petro (Petrol) Poroshenko means he is no longer useful as well…

Could they be preparing for an immanent stock market crash? After all, a sharp decline of 25% in global oil production will certainly have an effect on the global stock markets. Anyone who is in debt will want to be sure that they are liquid when it happens, but don’t stash your cash in Panama…because one might find themselves shaken down in the upcoming lawsuits that will help the US recover some of their 19 Trillion dollar deficit before they go down in flames…

Then again, maybe the US is desperate to find a way back into the Middle East and offered Putin a bribe or a blackmail threat when John Kerry showed Vladimir Putin what was in his briefcase…judging by all the smirks, the Russians already knew what John Kerry was up to…

Video Source: Russia Today

If the Saudi’s are in terminal decline, and I believe they are, then the US Oligarch’s will do anything to retain their power and that means they need a way back into the Middle East but at the moment, they have no choice but to deal with Russia or continue in the same direction that the Saudi Regime is headed…bankruptcy…after all, oil is what powers an economy and the US must import a great deal of oil to power its military and keep their economy afloat…the energy future belongs to Russia…

The US Plan for Syria

By: Stewart Brennan

Why does the US continue to insist on regime change in Syria even though they have no right to do so? I mean, we were all brought up in the west to believe that the Democratic process, is the only way to change a government…a democratic process that the American’s claim to embrace and champion. So when the US and Saudi Arabia insist that the Syrian government must go, what they really show is dictatorship and what they really want is a puppet government that will bend to their economic dictates.

To understand why the US government insists on regime change in Syria, we have to step back and look at the entire picture to get to the heart of why the US is pushing for it, or in the event that they don’t get their way with regime change, why they will insist on Balkanizing Syria into two or three states…to do that we need to look at it from an economic perspective, which is really the heart of what drives the American Military policy and everything they are interested in…

The one important tool that powers an economy and drives economics is energy, to be more precise, oil and gas.

The fact that Eurasia and the Middle East holds about 75% of the world’s known oil and gas is no secret. It is also no secret that every American adventure in these regions have been to wrest control of the oil and gas from Independent nations as we saw by the US coup of Mohammed Mosaddeq in Iran in 1953, and by the US Invasion of Iraq in 2003 when Saddam Hussain decided to sell his nations oil in Euro’s…

What we see when an independent nation refuses to go along with the dictates of the US and its European allies, such as Iraq 2003, Libya 2011, and Syria 2011, we see war crimes and the total obliteration of nations by militaristic means either directly as they did to Iraq with an invasion and occupation, covert means as they did to Syria by arming funding and training terrorist to remove the government, or by a combination of the both as they did to Libya…

Iran, Russia, and Syria are independent nations in the heart of the oil rich region, as are Saudi Arabia and the gulf state nations. However, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, and Bahrain are already under US control and influence, which is why these nations can get away with the atrocities they have been committing. Any friend of the US economic coalition is pardoned for war crimes and crimes against humanity…witness Israel, Turkey, Ukraine and Saudi Arabia…

The Two Main US Allies in the Destruction of Syria are Saudi Arabia and Turkey, why is that?

Well Saudi Arabia is attached to the hip with the US dollar, and are heavily invested in corporate America. If the US goes down, they go down with them…

Turkey hosts the main oil transit routes from the Caspian Sea basin that is controlled by Western Interests. In other words NATO and the US Military occupy Turkey therefore Erdogan follows whatever he is told by the US government.

Why is Syria Being Targeted?

Through its economic independence from the United States, Syria offers an independent transit route for Iran, Iraq and Russia to bring their oil and gas through to the Mediterranean and into Europe, bypassing US control.

We have to remember that Europe does not have the energy supply it requires to maintain its economic status and therefore has become increasingly dependent on the US to secure its oil and gas. The US in turn requires Europe to continue their economic partnership including buying everything in US dollars, the global reserve currency. Doing so allows the US to retain its economic hegemony around the world…but that hegemony is vulnerable when it comes to energy and who controls it…especially when it is not in US control.

The US government and its European partners are bankrupt and have watched their oil assets dwindle past peak. They no longer have control of their own destiny so they feel that they must plunder and control the oil and gas producing nations around the world to maintain their economic power.

The US failure in Syria is monumental in that the outcome will allow independent economic interests to provide Europe with the energy their economies need down the road. Europe will not need the US anymore…

The cost to the US will be its economic empire and their global reserve currency. Not that the US has any right to control something that does not belong to them, they do not have that right, but they act as if they do…like a bully.

The US Energy War with Russia

The US has threatened Russia in every venture it has tried when it comes to building energy supply lines as we have seen by the US / NATO military stand in Ukraine, Poland, Turkey, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia…and when it comes to building alternate energy supply routes from Russia through Eastern Europe in places like Bulgaria, the US puts the screws to the European Union and forces them to impose sanctions on Russia, citing Russian involvement in Ukraine…all of which are gross US fabrications…

The recent agreement for a direct gas pipeline between Germany and Russia through the Baltic Sea was met by a US economic attack on Germany and indeed further threats on Europe with the influx of Saudi and Turkish backed terrorists hidden amongst the legitimate victims of American Imperial wars…These active terrorist tools are now residing all over Europe just waiting for a phone call to do US / Saudi / Turkish bidding should the European’s continue to move towards an economic partnership with Russia…To the people of the EU, one should look no further than their own backyard and the security they have hired to guard it on the seas and in the air…including the 6 Billion extortionist man named Erdogan…

US Determined to Get Their Way

The US continues to call for regime change in Syria and if they cannot get that then Balkanizing Syria will become the Americans priority because having a government that they can control in Syria or having a balkanized state emerge from Syria under their influence, that lays between Iraq and the Mediterranean sea, would stop the Independent nations, of Iran, Iraq, and Russia from laying pipelines to Europe…the US will maintain its hegemony over the World if they control Syria…plain and simple.

Therefore, the US is NOT an honest broker when it reaches out to Russia as a so called willing partner to end the terrorism in Syria, terrorists that the US armed, trained and funded to overthrow the Syrian government. The American government will never change their position on Syria. The question is, how far will the Americans go to force the issue…a World War?

Obama threatens Syrian president with more Terrorist Attacks

UPDATE: 2014, Feb. 16th

Source: Press TV

US President Barack Obama has threatened that he will step up pressure on the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

Obama’s threat came after he hosted King Abdullah II of Jordan at the Sunnylands retreat in Palm Springs, California, where the two discussed, among other things, the unrest in Syria.

The US president said on Friday that he and his royal guest had decided they should take steps “to apply more pressure to the Assad regime.”

“We are going to need a political transition in that region,” Obama said in what sounded like a veiled reference to the announced goal of removing President Assad.

"There will be some intermediate steps that we can take to apply more pressure to the Assad regime, and we’re going to be continuing to work with all the parties concerned to try to move forward on a diplomatic solution,” he said, without specifying what those steps might be.

Several reports have shown over the past year that the US has been covertly training insurgents in Jordan to fight against the Syrian government.

Reports have also revealed that the US shipped weapons to Jordan in order to arm the foreign-backed militant groups.

During the meeting with Jordan’s king, Obama also pledged $1 billion in loan guarantees to Jordan and a renewal of a five-year aid package, which is worth $660 million a year and expires in September.

Shortly after the Geneva II talks between representatives of the Syrian government and the foreign-backed opposition ended with no deals on February 1, insurgents said that Washington had increased direct funding to their commanders in Jordan in order to ramp up pressure on Assad’s government before the next round of talks.

“From now until the next round of talks in Geneva, Assad will be under real pressure — he will feel more pressure from opposition forces,” a militant commander cited a US official as saying.

The “next round of talks in Geneva,” to which the US official had referred, broke off without any results on Saturday as both the Syrian opposition and government officials confirmed that they have been unable to make any progress, with each side sticking to its own position.

End arms supply to Syria militants: Iran Envoy

Iranian ambassador to Lebanon has renewed call for an end to foreign arms and financial aid to foreign-sponsored militants fighting against the Syrian government.

“If there is really a political will in the UN and the international community for the settlement of the Syria crisis, the flow of money and arms to terrorists in Syria from outside must be stopped so that there will be a possibility for an end to violence and the start of true negotiations,” Ghazanfar Roknabadi said in a meeting with UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon Derek Plumbly.

The UN official, for his part, underlined the need for addressing issues related to the Syrian refugees, urging that practical measures should be taken to find a political solution to Syria crisis.

Syria has been plagued by deadly crisis since March 2011.

Saudi Arabia has been the main supplier of weapons and funds to foreign-backed militants inside Syria. The United States is also said to have stepped up its financial support for the militants.

This comes as the second round of negotiations between the Syrian government and the foreign-backed opposition in the Swiss city of Geneva hit a deadlock due to sharp differences between the two sides.

UN-Arab League Special Envoy to Syria Lakhdar Brahimi said on Saturday that talks to resolve the Syrian crisis broke off without any result and no date has been yet set for another round.

The Syrian delegation says fighting terrorism should be the top priority. But the opposition insists that formation of a transitional government and resignation of President Bashar al-Assad must come first.

UPDATE: 2014 Feb 16

McCain urges Syria military intervention

Source: Press TV

Hawkish US Senator John McCain has called on the Obama administration to employ its already-devised plan of military intervention against the Syrian government.

“The only way to achieve success at Geneva is to change the balance of power on the ground,” McCain said in a statement on Saturday, referring to the failure of the so-called Syria peace talks in Geneva.

“There are options far short of an Iraq-style invasion that can, and should, be employed to change the calculation of the Syrian regime, stem the violence, and ultimately achieve a negotiated political solution,” he added.

The second round of negotiations ended on Saturday without any concrete results about the unrest in Syria.

“The second round of Syria peace talks ended today with no progress toward a negotiated political settlement to the conflict and UN Special Envoy Lakhdar Brahimi recognizing that failure is looming,” McCain said.

“After three weeks of talks, we are moving further and further away from a peaceful political solution,” he argued.

The Arizona Republican senator also criticized President Barack Obama for allowing Russia to put pressure on him.

“Russia has recently prevented the passage of a much-needed UN resolution on bringing aid to desperate Syrian civilians,” he said. “Such actions indicate that the Russian government is simply not a partner for peace in Syria and cannot be relied on to help secure a successful outcome.”

During a press conference on Friday, White House press secretary Jay Carney said there is no military solution for the crisis in Syria.

“The crisis in Syria is a crisis. The circumstances on the ground are horrific that is why we have to bring the parties together to try to compel them towards a negotiated political settlement because there isn’t a military solution here,” Carney said.

The Demon John McCain

By: Stewart Brennan

Behold the one in power, behold the one foretold,
Know him by his actions, and the soul that he has sold.
Illusions of god like powers, decorated in blood,
Death plagues and destruction, arriving in his flood.

He delights in money laundered, owned by Patrician creeds
He lays siege on humanity, and tramples on peoples needs.
He praises terror minions and delights in others pain
The evil that commands it all is none other than John McCain.

Terror legions unleashed, bloodthirsty to the bone,
They wait for their commandments, McCain is sure to phone
“Thou shalt kill thy neighbour, do plunder and terror things”
these are just a few words that John McCain sings.

“Heil hail, the world is falling down,
Grinding people to the ground.
Greed, corruption, famine, and frowns
there’s death and destruction all around.”

McCainish demons surface, with weapons from evil dens
Sacrificing the lives of women, children, and men.
Revoke his power I say, and those that he’s defended
John McCain the traitor, must be apprehended.

I take no pity on monsters, nor pleasure in what is sung,
But if mankind’s to survive, then John McCain must be hung.

Saudi Arabia passes draconian law that criminalizes opinion as terrorism

Saudi Arabia criminalizes ‘terrorists’ defaming state’s reputation, disturbing order

Source: Russia Today
http://rt.com/news/saudi-arabia-counterterrorism-law-556/

Actions that threaten Saudi Arabia’s unity, disturb public order, or defame the reputation of the state or the king – will be considered acts of terrorism under a new counterterrorism law which has come into force in the gulf kingdom.

The new legislature was ratified by King Abdullah on Sunday after being approved by the Cabinet in December, following the initial proposal by the Interior Ministry and advisory Shura Council.

It defines terrorism as “any act carried out by an offender … intended to disturb the public order…to shake the security of society… stability of the state… expose its national unity to danger… suspend the basic law of governance or some of its articles,” according to its text as cited by Human Rights Watch (HRW).

Terrorists can also be considered those individuals who “insult the reputation of the state or its position… inflict damage upon one of its public utilities or its natural resources,” or those who attempt to force “governmental authority to carry out or prevent it from carrying out an action, or to threaten to carry out acts that lead to the named purposes or incite [these acts].”

The legislation, made up of 40 clauses, allows the security forces to arrest and detain suspects for up to six months with the possibility to extend the confinement for another six months. Suspects are allowed to be held incommunicado for 90 days without the presence of their lawyer during the initial questioning.

Internet surveillance and phone tracking are also allowed under the new legislature, as well as the right for the security services to raid the homes of suspected terrorists, without prior approval from a judge. People suspected of financing terrorist activities could also be prosecuted.

The interior minister, rather than any judge, is empowered to suspend sentences or drop charges and release a person on trial.

When the legislature was approved in December, HRW lashed out against the Kingdom’s strive to limit freedom of speech and criticized the monarchy over its very vague definition of terrorism.

“Vague and overbroad legal provisions cannot be the basis for overriding a broad array of fundamental rights,” HRW said in a statement in December. “Saudi Arabia’s denial of the rights to participate in public affairs, and freedom of religion, peaceful assembly, association, and expression, as well as its systematic discrimination against women greatly exceed any notion of justifiable restrictions.”

Activists are worried that the law will first of all be applied to silence the liberal opposition in the country. Saudi activist Abdulaziz Al Shubaily from the Saudi Association for Civil and Political Rights (HASEM) described the law as a “catastrophe”.

“If I call for the release of someone from jail for being held longer than their sentence, I can be tried for “asking the state to take action,” Shubaily said. “When I call for a constitutional monarchy, I can now be charged with terrorism.”

“They characterize you as a terrorist because you ask the kingdom to do something it does not want to do,” he added.

HRW researcher Adam Coogle said, that the new law is “draconian in spirit and letter, and there is every reason to fear that the authorities will easily and eagerly use it against peaceful dissidents.”

Saudi women who are seen driving can now be accused of disturbing public order for defying a driving ban imposed on females and face punishment under a new law. In October last year, several images emerged online of women getting in cars and going around the city as part of a unified protest

Saudi ‘gift’ to hide its terror hand

Saudi largesse is throwing money again – in a bid to cover up its bloodstained hands in violence hitting the Middle East and beyond.

The latest public relations gimmick is the “donation” of $3 billion to the Lebanese army made by Saudi King Abdullah at the weekend.

The Saudi cash – twice the national military budget of Lebanon – is being regaled in the Western media as a noble offer to secure Lebanon from recent terror attacks.

The announcement was made during a visit to Riyadh by French President Francois Hollande, who met the Saudi king and the latter’s Lebanese proxy, Saad Hariri.

The new Saudi military aid to Lebanon is tied to the condition that it must be spent on purchasing French weaponry.

Already, the outlines of a sleazy deal are emerging. The above political actors have done much to destabilize Lebanon with violence, which is now being blamed on the wrong people – Shia Hezbollah – thanks to the deft finger work of billionaire Paris-exile Hariri.

One of the main protagonists of terrorism – Saudi Arabia – now steps in with a military aid “gift” that will allow it to influence the Lebanese army to go after Saudi enemy Hezbollah.

Such an insidious interference by Saudi Arabia in the internal affairs of Lebanon can only but incite further sectarian tensions between Sunni and Shia in that country, which is still recovering from a 15-year civil war.

On top of this, the other main advocate of regional subversion and terrorism – France – stands to receive a handsome payback in weapons sales to the tune of $3 billion.

And all the while, the Western media give this despicable charade a veneer of respectability. It really is astounding how Western media can get away with such distortion.

Saudi blood money and sponsorship of terrorism are carrying out demonic work in Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Yemen, Pakistan and even it could be added in Iran’s peripheral southeast region.

Moreover, the Saudi terror connection can also be traced to the weekend double bombing in the southern Russian city of Volgograd where more than 30 people were killed.

In October, a suicide bomber killed six also in a bus attack in Volgograd. Other cities have also been hit with deadly attacks in Russia’s Dagestan in recent months.

The likely Chechen perpetrators behind those attacks – led by Saudi-linked Doku Umarov – are also involved in waging the Saudi-financed terror war in Syria.

Recall, too, that Saudi spymaster Prince Bandar only a few months ago made veiled threats to Russian leader Vladimir Putin that the Sochi Winter Olympic Games were at risk to acts of sabotage. The Games are set to open on 7 February 2014.

Nevertheless, against this appalling background of provable Saudi-sponsored mayhem – stretching from the Mediterranean to the Russian Caucasus – we have this latest ridiculous Saudi public relations stunt.

Saudi King Abdullah, we are told, is to “grant” $3 billion to “help” the Lebanese army to “beef up its security”. France 24, among others, reported that the military boost “would help the Lebanese army fight ... groups like Hezbollah, which has caused a wave of violence in the country.”

The latter claim by France 24 is a risible distortion of the facts. Lebanon has indeed witnessed a wave of violence in recent months, but the main victims of the attacks have been Hezbollah and Shia communities in southern Beirut and Baalbek in the east of the country.

The primary source of this bloodshed in Lebanon is groups linked to Saudi, Israeli and Western intelligence.

For example, the double suicide bombing of the Iranian embassy in Beirut on 19 November, which killed at least 23 including Iranian cultural attaché [to Beirut Hojjatoleslam] Ebrahim Ansari, was claimed by the Saudi-backed al-Qaeda group known as Abdullah Azzam Brigade.

The Saudi king’s act of generosity to “improve security” in Lebanon should therefore be scoffed at by media instead of praised. But this is the Western media performing its dutiful function of inverting reality.

King Abdullah’s show of magnanimity came two days after a prominent Lebanese Sunni politician, Mohamad Shatah, was assassinated in a massive bomb blast that targeted his car in the capital Beirut on Friday morning.

Western media were quick to highlight claims by Saudi-backed Lebanese political leader Saad Hariri that the perpetrators of Shatah’s murder were Hezbollah. The Syrian government of President Bashar al Assad was also implicated for the killing.

There is no evidence to attribute Shatah’s murder to Hezbollah, other than politicized conjecture. Hezbollah and its Syrian and Iranian allies all categorically condemned the killing.

However, there is strong circumstantial evidence that Shatah may have been liquidated by his geopolitical allies as a nefarious means of triggering further sectarian violence inside Lebanon.

The execution of his murder would have required split-second timing and confidential information of his itinerary. He was on his way to meet members of the Hariri-led March 14 group.

This pattern of fomenting sectarian conflict between Sunni and Shia, as well as Christian, has been a staple of Saudi, Israeli and Western intelligence operating to destabilize Syria and Iraq over the past three years.

The splurging of $3 billion by Saudi Arabia to “increase Lebanon’s security” is merely cynical public relations to cover up the real source of violence in that country, as well as providing Riyadh military leverage to go after Hezbollah within Lebanon.

It follows the much bigger precedent of $100 billion that Saudi Arabia doled out to the United Nations Anti-Terrorism Center last August.

That donation was made at the end of the Holy Muslim Month of Ramadan as “a gift from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques of Islam”.

In the previous four weeks before that “gift”, some 1,000 Iraqis were killed in terror attacks mainly committed by the Saudi-bankrolled al-Qaeda franchise known as the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant.

This same group has been engaging in similar atrocities in neighboring Syria, along with [so-called] al-Nusra Front, [so-called] Liwa al-Tawhid and [so-called] Ahrar al-Sham – all of them Saudi-sponsored.

The simple fact is that the sectarian bloodshed inundating Syria and Iraq, and increasingly now in Lebanon, as well as in countries as far apart as Yemen and Russia, would not be happening if it were not for the blood money flowing from Saudi Arabia.

US appeals court overturns ruling, that 9/11 victims can't sue Saudi Arabia

A federal appeals court in New York City has revived litigation against Saudi Arabia on behalf of families of victims of the September 11, 2001, attacks.

More than twelve years after the 9/11 attacks and eight years after a lower federal court ruled Saudi Arabia had immunity from prosecution, a three-judge panel of the 2nd US Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan ruled on Thursday that families of 9/11 victims can get their day in court against Saudi Arabia.

According to the families of 9/11 victims, the kingdom provided support to al-Qaeda prior to the attacks which killed nearly 3,000 people.

“This opinion is eminently correct and will give 9/11 victims their day in court,” said Stephen Cozen, a partner at the Pennsylvania-based law firm Cozen O'Connor representing the plaintiffs.

“The parties will start over, and we are very, very satisfied that we will meet any defenses, both legal and factual, that are raised,” Cozen added.

The litigation began in 2002, just one year after the 9/11 attacks, when families of the victims said that Saudi Arabia and a charity affiliated with the Saudi government knowingly provided al-Qaeda with funds and other material support to help them carry out the attacks.

However, in 2005, US District Judge Richard Casey dismissed the case ruling that the kingdom was immune from prosecution under the federal Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act.

In 2008, a 2nd Circuit Court panel upheld the ruling on different grounds but the same interpretation of sovereign immunity law did not apply to Afghanistan against which a 2011 decision allowed similar claims to proceed.

It would be “especially anomalous” to treat the two cases differently, Circuit Judge Chester Straub wrote for the three-judge panel on Thursday, Reuters reported.

“I’m ecstatic, because we have a lot of information and evidence,” William Doyle, who lost his 25-year-old son in the attacks, told the New York Daily News.

Fifteen of the 19 September 11 attackers were Saudi nationals who flew hijacked planes into the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., and into a field in Pennsylvania.

Moreover, many Americans and families of the attacks’ victims say there is more to the tragic event than just planes hijacked by Saudi nationals, talking about the controlled demolition of the World Trade Center, Israeli complicity in the events, and many other issues.

Critics have indicated, among other things, to bombs and explosives planted at the World Trade Center that demolished the buildings, jubilant Israeli intelligence agents photographing the attacks, made-up phone calls from the planes, and a warning by the Mossad (the Israeli spy agency) one day before the attacks to Israeli Tower workers and occupants to stay away from the buildings.

A former CIA agent, Susan Lindauer, has also indicated the role of the US intelligence apparatus in the attacks.

Lindauer talks about the CIA’s detailed knowledge of the time, target, and means of the 9/11 attacks over the months prior to the events, saying the “lies are so much bigger than what you know.”

Congress cites 9/11 Bush cover-up, demands Obama act

People walk amongst US national flags in Malibu, California, hoisted by students and staff from Pepperdine University to honor victims of the 9/11 attacks, September 11, 2013

http://www.presstv.ir/detail/2013/12/18/340605/congress-cites-911-bush-coverup/

Two members of Congress, specially authorized to view documents on 9/11 censored under the personal authority of President Bush (43), have come away “absolutely shocked,” demanding immediate action.

However, the full story, told for the first time below, explains “why now” and who is really being targeted by revelations of cover-up and conspiracy.

In accusations published yesterday by the leading Tea Party publication, Family Security Matters, Saudi Defense Minister and Intelligence chief Prince Bandar referred to as “Bandar Bush” in his Wikipedia biography for his close relationship with that family, was said to be the planner of 9/11.

In an article by Paul Sperry of the Hoover Institute, Bandar was cited with fleeing the US to avoid prosecution. Here, Sperry quotes a government source: “Our investigations contributed to the ambassador’s departure,” an investigator who worked with the Joint Terrorism Task Force in Washington told me, though Bandar says he left for “personal reasons.”

Despite these pronouncements, these accusations may well be unfounded speculation. What we have to ask is why are they being made now and why by political groups long close to the Saudi government. Why has Saudi Arabia failed to respond to these very public accusations coming from some of the highest authorities in Washington? “Why are the rats turning on each other?”

Startling disclosures?

This week, Congressional representatives Stephen Lynch (D-MA) and Walter Jones (R-NC) have officially requested a congressional resolution demanding President Obama declassify the heavily redacted Congressional Investigative Report on 9/11.

The two representatives had just been given authority under penalty of “national security secrecy” to read the censored 28 pages of the 800-page report that had not been seen.

For nearly a decade, the US has maintained security policies, both domestic and international, based on threats now known to have been totally fabricated. The cost, trillions of dollars, thousands of Americans dead in wars against “enemies” long known to have never been involved in terror attacks on America, the phony “hunt for bin Laden,” all of it, nothing but utter hogwash.

Bush cited as conspirator

What has been made clear is that President Bush was fully aware that neither Afghanistan nor Iraq were involved in 9/11 and that military action against those two nations was done to cover involvement of his administration in 9/11, involvement that included support from foreign intelligence agencies.

The representatives, while reviewing the report, came to the portion titled “Specific Sources of Foreign Support.” A 28-page section here had been “butchered” by the White House on the personal orders of President Bush. On the original report given to Congress, an estimated 5-10,000 words were omitted from this section with page after page of dotted lines replacing text.

The full report carries a tale of not only broad complicity of foreign intelligence agencies but, in the use of the term “complicity,” indications of full knowledge of the funding and planning of 9/11 by the Bush administration.

However, the lawmakers, without the support of a resolution, are under a “gag order” and unable to name the nation or nations that supplied.

Israel, Saudi Arabia or both

Recent revelations tied to events in Syria and Egypt have exposed an unimagined level of cooperation between the intelligence services of Israel and Saudi Arabia. For years, Israel has cited Saudi Arabia as the greatest threat to their security, much greater than Iraq under Saddam or their claims of a “nuclear Iran.” This and much else of what Israel has publicly claimed as part of their “mythology of victimization” is now recognized as falsehood. Though both Israel and Saudi Arabia are known as allies of the US, their partnerships with America have been with specific groups, extremists within government and the military willing to back the plots now plainly evident even when US interests are sacrificed or even American lives are lost.

Telling, today, is the relationship between Al-Nusra and other al-Qaeda “franchises” and the Israeli/Saudi alliance, a relationship that has provided both financial support and weapons, used against Syria, Lebanon and Iraq.

The sections of the 9/11 report that were censored by President Bush may well include reference to that al-Qaeda/Israel/Saudi nexus. What is clear is that not only did the Bush administration wrongly blame bin Laden or “al-Qaeda,” a spurious and illusory group at best, but that those cited, Israel, Saudi Arabia or both, though named for funding and supporting the 9/11 attack, were always under the full control of the Bush administration.

What does exist is proof that the war on terror was, in reality as confirmed by General Wesley Clark, a plan to invade and occupy 7 oil- and gas-rich nations.

Israel put the blame on Saudi Arabia

In an article released yesterday on www.familysecuritymatters.org , Paul Sperry of the Hoover Institute cited, not just the Saudi government as having been behind 9/11 but set the relationship between George W. Bush and Prince Bandar at the crux of the conspiracy.

After the 9/11 attacks, the public was told al-Qaeda acted alone, with no state sponsors. “But the White House never let it see an entire section of Congress’ investigative report on 9/11 dealing with “specific sources of foreign support” for the 19 hijackers, 15 of whom were Saudi nationals.

It was kept secret and remains so today. President Bush inexplicably censored 28 full pages of the 800-page report.”

Sperry goes on: “Saudi consulate official Fahad al-Thumairy allegedly arranged for an advance team to receive two of the Saudi hijackers - Khalid al-Mihdhar and Nawaf al-Hazmi - as they arrived at LAX in 2000.”

Sperry goes on citing instance after instance where Saudi intelligence directly aided al-Qaeda every step of the way.

What is important is that we understand who Sperry represents. Family Security Matters isn’t a simple blog. It is the voice of not just the extreme right but AIPAC as well. Their editors include Senator Ted Cruz, top GOP domestic policy maker and former UN Ambassador John Bolton, Islamophobe extremist, “Israel Firster” and a man who never saw a war he didn’t love.

“Family Matters” is the power center for everything pro-money, pro-hate and pro-Israel. Self-proclaimed “investigative journalist Paul Sperry serves with the Hoover Institute, along with former Secretary of State Condi Rice. The critical aspect of yesterday’s article is that it represents the first time the Israel lobby has been willing to throw former President Bush “under a bus” in order to distance themselves from accusations of complicity in 9/11.

Prior to the exposure of Israel’s role as “mentor” for al-Qaeda in Syria, America’s media was able to suppress not just “conspiracy theories” but accusations backed by evidence and testimony that placed Israel at the center of the 9/11 attacks.

Prince Bandar accused of planning 9/11

Though there is no reason to assume Saudi Arabia is mentioned whatsoever in the redacted Congressional report, Sperry cites payments by Bandar to the alleged 9/11 hijackers and other funding to al-Qaeda.

“Other al Qaeda funding was traced back to Bandar and his embassy - so much so that by 2004 Riggs Bank of Washington had dropped the Saudis as a client. The next year, as a number of embassy employees popped up in terror probes, Riyadh recalled Bandar.”

Real from conjecture

Members of Congress have openly admitted that they have seen documentation that would support an immediate criminal investigation against President Bush (43) and his closest advisors. Further, those agencies involved in compiling this report, key portions of which have remained secret, were also responsible for lying to the 9/11 Commission, not just through omission. All the intelligence that sent America into two wars is now not just suspect, it is proven false.

Recognizing that the nations responsible have not yet been named, though attempts by Family Security Matters to subvert this process are underway, what does stand is evidence of the same conspiracy.

From a CIA transcript dated September 24, 2001, Osama bin Laden is quoted: “The United States should try to trace the perpetrators of these attacks within itself; the people who are a part of the US system, but are dissenting against it. Or those who are working for some other system; persons who want to make the present century as a century of conflict between Islam and Christianity so that their own civilization, nation, country, or ideology could survive.”

Family Security Matters celebrates the death of Osama bin Laden as a terrorist fanatic. They also celebrate the death of Nelson Mandela as a terrorist fanatic. Mandela was right, as history has shown.
